Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SavorFit mobile application (“SavorFit”, “the app”), developed and published by Metin Demirel, an individual developer based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”, “the developer”). By downloading, installing or using SavorFit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

SavorFit is intended for adults and is age-rated accordingly in the App Store. By using the app you confirm that you meet that age requirement. The app is not designed for use by minors.

2. Licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use SavorFit for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control. This licence is provided under Apple’s standard End User Licence Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

3. Purchases

SavorFit Premium unlocks the ability to create entries in the app — meals, diary entries and body measurements. It is offered in three forms, and you choose one:

• Monthly subscription — auto-renewable, renews every month.
• Yearly subscription — auto-renewable, renews every year.
• Lifetime — a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription, does not renew, and is not billed again.

Terms that apply to these purchases:

• No free trial. SavorFit Premium has no trial period and no introductory offer.
• Prices are shown in the app and in the App Store in your local currency, set per storefront by Apple. We do not publish prices here, because they differ by country.
• Auto-renewal applies to the monthly and yearly subscriptions only. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
• Management: you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Restoring: purchases can be restored on your other devices using the same Apple ID, from the app’s Settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. We have no ability to issue them directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Viewing your statistics and charts, the food library, recipes, the blog, the calorie calculator and CSV export do not require a purchase.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable or impair its functionality
• Resell, sublicense or distribute access to the app or to your purchase

5. Your content

Everything you enter into SavorFit — food entries, measurements, diary notes, meal reasons, custom foods and recipes — is your content and your responsibility. We do not access, review or store it. It stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Health and medical disclaimer

SavorFit is a self-tracking tool for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Calorie goals, BMI values, macro targets and educational articles are estimates based on widely accepted formulas (such as Mifflin–St Jeor) and general nutritional knowledge. They are not a substitute for personalised advice from a qualified healthcare provider, registered dietitian or certified trainer.

Before beginning a calorie deficit, significantly changing your diet or starting a new exercise routine — especially if you have a chronic medical condition, a history of eating disorders, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18 or over 65 — please consult a qualified specialist.

You acknowledge that any reliance on information provided by SavorFit is at your own risk, and that the developer is not responsible for the consequences of your dietary, exercise or health-related decisions.

7. Privacy

We do not collect or receive any personal data. The Privacy Policy explains in full what the app does with information, including how iCloud synchronisation and encryption work.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, source code, trademarks and other intellectual property associated with SavorFit belong to Metin Demirel. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works based on the app or its content without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

SavorFit is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Metin Demirel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date above changes, and significant changes are reflected in an app update. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using SavorFit at any time by deleting the app from your devices. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund beyond what Apple’s standard refund policy allows.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Personal data matters are subject to Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SavorFit are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring action before a local court.
