Frequently asked questions
What is SavorFit?
SavorFit is a food diary for people who want to understand their eating, not just count it. Alongside calories and macros it records why you ate — hunger, company, habit, mood — and keeps body measurements and a personal diary in the same calm place.
What does SavorFit Premium unlock?
Creating entries: meals, diary entries and body measurements. Everything else is free and needs no purchase — statistics and charts, your food library, recipes, the blog, the calorie calculator, and exporting your data to CSV.
Which purchase should I choose?
There are three, and they unlock exactly the same thing:
- Monthly — the smallest commitment. Renews every month, cancel any time.
- Yearly — renews every year and works out cheaper than paying monthly.
- Lifetime — paid once. Not a subscription, never renews, nothing to cancel.
Prices are shown in the app in your own currency. There is no free trial.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find SavorFit Premium and tap Cancel Subscription
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. If you bought Lifetime, there is nothing to cancel — it does not renew.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, install SavorFit, open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchase.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and request a refund for SavorFit. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.
Does SavorFit work without iCloud?
Yes, fully. iCloud synchronisation is optional: with it, your data follows you across your Apple devices; without it, everything works on the device you are holding.
Is my data private?
We collect nothing — no analytics, no third parties, no ads. Your entries stay on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account, where the contents are encrypted on the device before being sent. The developer cannot read them. The Privacy Policy explains this in detail, including what Advanced Data Protection changes.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, and without paying: the app exports everything to a CSV file that opens in Numbers, Excel or any spreadsheet.
Why is there no built-in food database?
Because picking a name off a list happens on autopilot, and nothing stays with you. Entering a food yourself means reading the label once — and that reading is the point of the app. Your own library builds up as you go, and after a couple of weeks most entries are two taps.
Is SavorFit medical advice?
No. It is an informational self-tracking tool. Calorie goals, BMI values and articles are estimates based on widely accepted formulas. They are not medical advice and do not replace a qualified healthcare provider, dietitian or trainer. Consult a specialist before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.
Something is broken
